Willard D. Busby - Caraway

Willard D. Busby, 78, of Caraway died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was a retired farmer, a protestant, and had lived in the Caraway area a lifetime.

He is survived by a son, Don Busby of Cherokee Village; a daughter, Lois Thomas, of Caraway; a brother, Coy Busby, of Bakersfield, Mo.; a sister Nethia Vinson, of Caraway; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery with Gregg Funeral Home of Monette in charge.
