Edna M. Atkinson - Ash Flat

Edna M. Atkinson, 85, of Ash Flat, died Wednesday, July 11, at Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home. Born in Williford, she was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired teacher at Monette High School.

Survivors include a sister, Glenna Garner, of Williford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Atkinson.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Mearl Henry officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
