Jessie Pherail Jones - Shirley, Ark.

Jessie Pherail Jones, 68, of Shirley, Ark., died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville.

Born at Shirley, she was the daughter of the late Walter James and Bessie Dunigan Watts. She was a homemaker and a lifelong Shirley area resident.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Sammy Jones of Portland, Oreg., and Rex Jones of Shirley; one daughter, Linda MaHaney of McMinnville, Oreg.; four brothers, James Watts of Manila, Mack Watts of Vernonia, Oreg., Jim Watts of Forest Grove, Oreg., and Charles Watts of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, Dean Reeves of Shirley, Jean McMinn of Portland, Pat Fields of North Plains, Oreg., and Mary Lou Johnson of Hillsboro, Oreg.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 21, at the Settlement Cemetery in Shirley with Rev. Bobby Ward officiating. Services are under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
