Lucille "Patsy" Norton
Lucille "Patsy" Norton, 74, of Brookland, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margie Smith Carmichael and had been a longtime resident of Northeast Arkansas and Pioneer, La.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, one great-grandson, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Paul Stanley Norton, Sr.; three sons, William Edward Norton of Paragould, Paul Stanley Norton, Jr. of Horse Cave, Ky., and David Luther Norton of Pioneer, La.; six daughters, Patricia Ann Tillie of Pioneer, La., Darlene Stan Nicholson of Helena/West Helena, Tammy Jean Norton of Austin, Margaret Joann Teeters of Holopaw, Fla., Christmas Marie Eatmon of Horse Cave, Ky., Hazel Lynn Hacker of Poplar Grove; one brother, Tommy Carmichael of Burdette; two sisters, Tappy Bedwell and Amy McCain, both of Brookland. She also leaves 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Graig Stull officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Smith, Matthew Norton, Donnie Norton, David Norton, Jr., Bobby Hacker and Zachary Hacker.
The family will receive visitors Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
