Howard Cook, 64 of Paragould, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Bald Knob and raised in Northeast Arkansas, he was the son of the late Floyd and Katherine Stone Cook and had been a longtime area resident. He was a former employee of Greenfield Seed Company in Harrisburg and enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son, Donnie Glen Cook.
Survivors include three sons, Keith Cook and his wife Linda of Marmaduke, Howard Cook, Jr. of Paragould, Ronnie Lynn Cook of Marmaduke; eight brothers, Floyd Wayne Cook of Bloomington, Il.,
Rick Cook of Paragould, Bob Cook of Neoga, Ill., George Cook of Paragould, Lloyd Cook of Paragould, Claude Cook of Paragould, Jimmy Cook of Charleston, Mo., Jason Cook of Jonesboro; a sister Tammy Farmer of Marmaduke. He also leaves three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating. Serving as active pallbearers are Jeff Cline, Stan Owens, Dewayne Cook, Thomas Cook, Bo Mills and Craig Snider. The family will receive visitors Thursday morning from 11 until service time.
