Jeanette Liles Brandon

Jeanette Liles Brandon, 68, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born Jan. 1, 1950, in Jonesboro to the late Delbert and Lawanda Liles. She worked at Monette and Manila nursing homes, Colson's in Monette and the shoe factory. For many years she drove an over the road truck for McFarlin's Trucking Company and another special skill she had was she could roof houses as well as any man.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Cathy) Liles and Brian (Kristie) Carmichael, all of Monette; three sisters, Dovie (Larry) Downey of Watervliet, Mich., Vanessa (Reg) Barner of Hot Springs and Sue (Gary) Morris of Monette; two brothers, Carl (Diane) Liles of Jonesboro and Billy Liles of Monette; three grandsons, Logan Liles, Chayse Carmichael and Brayden Carmichael; many nieces, nephews and other loved ones. They will deeply miss her.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Larry McFarlin, and husband, Kenny Brandon.

A celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until time of service Tuesday.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Larry Downey, Aaron Liles, Travis Tompkins, Anthony Dunn, Billy Liles and Max Liles and as honorary pallbearers Dovie Downey and Gary and Sue Morris.
