Judy Mae Oberheuser

Judy Mae Oberheuser, 69, of Jonesboro, formerly of the Buckeye community near Manila, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born and raised in the Manila area, she was the daughter of the late Rancel "R.L." and Lowrean Hicks and was a 1966 graduate of Manila High School. She was a lifelong area resident and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Stephen McMullen of Jonesboro; one brother, R.L. Hicks of Lake Wells, Fla.; two sisters, Shirley Mangrum and Karen Hiser, both of Paragould; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Bryce Holmes officiating. Burial was private.

The family received visitors Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
