Martha Ann Brewer

Martha Ann Brewer, 77, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at St. Bernard Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1940, in Caraway to the late Willie and Eva Adams Olive. Mrs. Brewer is a retiree of American Greetings in Osceola after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed growing flowers and working in the yard as well as being an excellent cook. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her husband, Otis W. Brewer; a daughter, Teresa Ball of North Huntingdon, Pa.; a grandson, Tyler Ball of Pittsburgh, Pa.; many beloved nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Eudean Latimer, Cathran Sutberry and Margaret Crews, and a brother, Billy Olive.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Linda Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Ball, Drew Kelso, Mike Rhodes, Cody Weathers, Gary Taylor and Chad Sneed. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Fletcher, Rudy Anderson, her friends at Morningside of Jonesboro and Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City.
