The annual Buffalo Island Central FFA Alumni Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Monette First Baptist Church New Life Center.

The meal, consisting of pork steak and barbecued chicken with all of the trimmings, will be prepared by Superintendent Gaylon Taylor. The meal will begin at 5 p.m. and the auction at 6 p.m.

Auctioneer Rodney McClellan will again lead the auction team for a lively evening.

Gift cards for the BIC Alumni auction set for Saturday, March 24.

In addition to 80 to 100 live auction items made by the BIC FFA members and donated by individuals and businesses, there will be a silent auction.

Bruce Fires, BIC FFA adviser, expressed his appreciation to his FFA members, Alumni members, school and the community for all of their support.

Some of items built by the members include a chicken coop, lawn chairs, benches, corn hole set and flat bed trailer. Donated items include gifts cards, miniature tractors and combines, tools, and much more.

There will also be drawings throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the event go to support the FFA program.
