Marilyn Joyce Britt

Manila -- Marilyn Joyce Britt was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Parkin, to Jessie and Lillian Shelton Neal. She was a homemaker and attended Pentecostal Church of God in Osceola. Mrs. Britt passed away Feb. 22, 2018, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, at the age of 75.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Raymond Britt of Manila; one son, Gordon Britt of Manila; one daughter, Wilma (Kent) Roberts of Manila; one brother, Jimmy Neal of Union City, Tenn.; four sisters, Lois Hale, Wilma Irvin and Paula Hill of Osceola and Sammie Sue Byrd of Cabot; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Timothy Britt, one brother Bobby Neal and one sister Shirley Woody.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial was in Manila Cemetery.

Bro. Austin Maxwell and Pastor Wayne Moore officiated.

Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge.
