Herbert Albert Wise

Herbert Albert Wise, 70, of Hardy, passed away Dec. 21, 2017. He was born May 14, 1947, in Luxora to William and Mable Wright Wise. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, retired construction worker, and was of the Baptist faith. He also enjoyed visiting the First United Pentecostal Church of Manila.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Wise; sons, Junior Wise and Johnny Wise; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Frankie Freeman, Billie Kimball and Charlene Julian; and a brother, Tommy Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Wise.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
