Bobby Dean Sevier

Bobby Dean Sevier, 80, of Monette, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in the Delfore community, he was the son of the late Charles and Bon Jean Cunningham Sevier and had been a lifelong area resident. A 1955 graduate of Leachville High School, he had served in the U.S. Army and later retired from Emerson Electric in Paragould.

Survivors include one son, David Sevier (Marilyn) of Elkins; three daughters, Rebecca Clowers (Robert) of Leachville, Danette Thomas (Harvey) of Clinton and Jana Evans (Keith) of Leachville; one sister, Barbara Stirling of Leachville.

He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Albert Camp officiating. Burial followed in the Macey Cemetery near Monette.

Active pallbearers were James Dublin, Michael Imler, Kaleb Dublin, Kameron Dublin, Nathan Holt and Jeremy Helms. Honorary pallbearers included Vincent Rece and Nicholas Rece.

The family received visitors Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
