Tucker receives appreciation plaque

Bobby Tucker was presented an appreciation plaque Monday for his years of service to the Manila Cemetery Board.

Tucker, a longtime business owner in Manila, has served on the cemetery board for over 20 years. He said he has enjoyed serving the community.

Board members Dan Gamble and Garry Jolliff presented Tucker with a plaque for his years of dedicated service.

“We appreciate the time and service you have put in on the Manila Cemetery,” Gamble said. “Your shoes will be hard to fill.

Other members of the Manila Cemetery Board are Danny Robbins, Linda Donovan, Dennis Veach and Henry Ford.

Tucker commended the workers for doing a good job with the upkeep of the cemetery. He said even though he is resigning from the board he will be available if he is needed.
