Manila Senior Cross Country teams compete at state

Manila Senior boys and girls Cross Country teams participated in the state championship meet on Friday, Nov. 3. The meet was held in Hot Springs on the infield of Oaklawn Park.

The Senior Boys team consists of two sophomores and five freshmen.

Members of the team are Brayden Mattingly, Garrett Hart, Mario Olivas, Anthony Lopez, Connor Milligan, Austin Harmon and Connor Jackson

The young team finished overall in eighth place.

Freshman Connor Jackson finished in fourth place behind two seniors and a junior, to earn all-state honors for his performance.

Freshman Austin Harmon also did very well finishing 18th in the state competition.

Connor Jackson finishes fourth place and earns all-state honors as a freshman.

Manila Senior Girls team is also a young group. The team consists of one junior, five sophomores and one freshman.

Team members are Alissa Delong, Lupe Roldan, Anna Beth Baugher, Beatriz Roldan, Micah Beach, Alicia Rameriz and Vivian Pryor.

The Manila Girls team finished the state meet in 15th place.
