Jackie Loveda Drury, 78, of Marmaduke, widow of David "Yogi" Drury, passed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, at her home. Born and raised in Smithville, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Grace Tanner Thacker and had lived in Leachville before moving to the Marmaduke area 40 years ago. She was a retired machine operator for Emerson Electric in Paragould and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Charles Thacker, Richard Thacker, Wilard Thacker, Harold Thacker, Mark Thacker, Conward Thacker, Gerald Thacker; and three sisters, Floreida Thacker, Delores Brooks and Linda Swenson.

Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Drury (Ricky) of Lafe, Joyce Malone (Lonnie) of Paragould and Dee Carter of Winter Haven, Fla. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
