Manila Cross Country team wins at Salem, Valley View

Manila junior boys cross country team endured a rainy day and won the meet at Salem on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with four medalists, Connor Jackson, Jake Baltimore, Austin Harmon and Brayden Mattingly.

This is the second year in a row the team has won this event.

Connor Jackson took overall first place, Jake Baltimore second, Austin Harmon fifth and Brayden Mattingly 20th.

Madison Hitchcock and Sadie McDonald, members of the Manila junior girls cross country team, were medalists at Salem and Valley View meets.

Members of the junior girls cross country team, Sadie McDonald and Madison Hitchcock, were medalists. Sadie finished sixth and Madison, 16th.

Valley View

Manila junior cross country teams attended the Valley View Invitational on Oct. 10. The junior boys won first place with four runners finishing in the top 10 - Connor Jackson, first; Jake Baltimore, second; Austin Harmon, fifth; and Brayden Mattingly, 10th. The girls had two medalists, Sadie McDonald, second; and Madison Hitchcock, ninth.
