Cadyn Qualls crowned 2017 Miss NEA District Fair Queen

Cadyn Qualls, a senior at Buffalo Island Central High School, was recently crowned 2017 Miss Northeast Arkansas District Fair Queen at the Brookland High School Auditorium.

Qualls, the 17-year-old daughter of Jeff and Stacey Qualls of Monette, also won the Overall Best Interview Award. She will represent the NEA District Fair at the Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant in Little Rock in October.

She is BIC senior class president, editor of Hoofprints - the school newspaper, National Honor Society secretary, and a member of the BIC journalism staff, Drama Club, FBLA, C.O.D.E., and EAST.

Vanessa Luna of Manila was named second alternate in the Miss Division and Morgan James of Monette was named first alternate in the Junior Miss NEA District Fair Queen Division.
