Nola Inez Young
Nola Inez Young of Steelville, Mo., was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Leachville, a daughter to the late Bernard Hart and the late Eula (Cude) Hart. Nola entered eternal rest on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at her home having reached the age of 83 years, seven months and 18 days.
Nola will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her beloved husband, Ameuel Young of Steelville, Mo.; son, Len Young and wife Rebecca of Steelville; sister, Imogene Young of St. Louis; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nola was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlotte Sherrell, Christine and Margaret Hart; two brothers-in-law, George Young and Claude Sherrell.
The family received friends Friday, Sept. 8, from 4:30-8 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon held from the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Loise Moses officiating.
Honoring Nola by serving as casket bearers were Donald H. Mayer, Frank Mayer, Jerry M. Smith, Tim Nixon, Ron Laird and Paul Laird. Serving as honorary casket bearer was Royce Fritz.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. Following the committal service, the family and friends gathered at the Lakewood Baptist Church for a time of fellowship and a luncheon.
