Leachville fireworks draws large crowd
The Leachville Cave Dwellers (a group of local volunteers) work throughout the year to raise money and accept donations to fund fireworks on the Fourth of July each year. Cave Dwellers include firemen, police officers, first responders and other volunteers who want to give Leachville and the surrounding residents a fantastic fireworks display. This is their 11th year and each year the show gets larger.
In addition to the fireworks, activities at the park are held leading up to the 9:11 p.m. fireworks display. Refreshments, games, music and drawings were held.
The 45 minute fireworks extravaganza was praised by the crowd of all ages. The rain showers ended just in time for the show.
The fireworks display and park activities have become a good way to end the day of celebrating the Nation's birthday.
