Mary Sue Samples

Mary Sue Samples, 84, of Manila, passed from this life Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born to the late Ned and Nora Osborne Rice, she had lived most of her life in Manila and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was a retired beautician and had also worked for the former Brown Shoe Company in Leachville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Picotte, and her former husbands, Harry Redman, Leman Robirds and Curt Samples.

Survivors include one son, Kenny Redman of Jonesboro; one grandson, Jason Christopher Redman of Manila; two great-granddaughters, Kaylee Redman and Abby Redman.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Manila with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
