Wanda Mae Martin, 76, of Monette, passed away June 1, 2017, at her home. She was born in Monette on Feb. 25, 1941, to the late Claud and Bessie Brown Sharp. She was a member of Souls Harbor Trinity Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, collecting salt and pepper shakers, traveling and yard sales.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Martin of Monette; one son, Kenneth Worthey of Monette; one daughter, Connie Worthey of Joplin, Mo.; two brothers, Dallas Wasson of Monette and Darrell Sharp of Jonesboro; three sisters, Juanita Kerr of Monette, Doris May of Horseshoe Bend and Ruby Kogler of Troy, Mich.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Bessie Sharp, and one brother, Lloyd Wasson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Souls Harbor Trinity Church, Manila, with Bro. David Fair and Bro. Jerry Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Macey Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors at the church Saturday from 12:30 p.m until service time.
