Linda Carolyn Collins

Linda Carolyn Collins, 62, passed away May 6, 2017, at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born Sept. 27, 1954, to Wilborn and Elizabeth Hansen in Wynne. She was a member of Southridge General Baptist Church and a graduate of Valley View High School. Mrs. Collins was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ann Hansen.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Jerry Collins; one son, Carl Adams; one daughter, Andrea Adams; grandchildren, Trevor Allison, Katy Rhea Allison, Tori Grace Adams and Landon Price; brothers, James Hansen (Phyllis), Charles Hansen (Monica); sisters, Betty Bollinger (Michael), Brenda Stark (Tommy), Mable Olson (David) and Pam Barnes (David). Mrs. Collins also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, at the Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Brookland with Bro. Rick Hathcoat officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-7:30 Tuesday, May 9, at the church.

Pallbearers are Wayne Mills, Jake Householder, David Mote, Danial Mote, Nick Davis and Stoney Clayton. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Findley, Trevor Allison and Larry Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations toward funeral expenses.
