Manila native appointed to the Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board

James Murphy of Little Rock, former Manila resident, has been appointed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to serve on the Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.

Murphy, vice president, real estate evaluations manager for Onebanc & Trust in Little Rock, has a background in insurance, real estate appraising and banking.

Murphy, a 1976 graduate of Manila High School and 1982 graduate of California State University, worked in the insurance industry for 26 years.

He has lived in Little Rock for four years.

Murphy said he feels honored to be appointed to the position and looks forward to serving. The appointment is for a three year term which will expire Jan. 15, 2020.
