Rev. Andrea Villarreal Herrera, 79, of Bay, formerly of Jonesboro, the widow of the Reverend Antonio S. Herrera, passed from this life Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at her home. Born in La Feria, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Simon G. and Luz Mendiola Villarreal and was raised in Victoria, Texas. She and her late husband traveled all over the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and she later attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Trumann.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Juan V. Huerta, Jesse V. Huerta, Rufugio M. Villarreal and Santiago M. Villarreal, and two sisters, Maria Luna and Simona M. Villarreal.

She is survived by four sons, Robert V. Herrera of Bay, Ray V. Herrera and wife Melanie of Paragould, David Paul V. Herrera of Jonesboro and Rev. Daniel V. Herrera and wife Gwendolyn of Miami, Okla.; two daughters, Norma V.H. Lee of Manila and Rev. Martha H. Turner of Bay; one sister, Luisa V. Reyna of Victoria, Texas. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Donald Lewert officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include David Lee, Zachary Lee, Jacob Jerrera and Joseph Herrera. Honorary pallbearers were Alexander Turner and Andrew Connor Herrera. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. Friday until service time.
