Donna Delores Bray

Donna Delores Bray, 73, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Donna was born Oct. 5, 1943, to Bedford and Mable Carter in Jonesboro. She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, playing with her grandchildren, dancing and crappie fishing. Donna graduated from Nettleton High School and worked at Frolic Shoe Factory, Dupont and Thomas and Betts.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother Buddy Carter; and sister Joanne Dudley.

Survivors include her husband, Mitchell (Mickey) Bray; son, Greg E. Watkins of the home; daughters, Renae (Wayne) Shirley of Hot Springs, Stacy Acebo of Jonesboro and Suzanne Mandrell of Michigan; grandchildren, Brock Acebo of Jonesboro, Adam (Mary) Shirley of Hot Springs and Alex Shirley of Hot Springs; great-grandchildren, Lylie and Isabella Shirley; brother, Wayne (Donna) Carter of Jonesboro; sister Doris (Buddy) White of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, with Bro. Craig Stull officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brock Acebo, Adam Shirley, Alex Shirley, Wayne Shirley, Shane Carter and Marty White. Honorary bearers were Van Chandler, Don Showalter, Pat Taylor and Shane McIntosh. Interment followed at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
