Patsy Freeman, 74, of Dyersburg, Tenn., died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at her residence in Dyersburg. Born Sunday, Oct. 4, 1942, in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Alford Hickman and the late Margalene Holmes. She was a retired truck driver for Smith Logistics.

A graveside service for Mrs. Freeman will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Leachville Cemetery in Leachville, Ark. Visitation will be held from, 5-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tenn.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Deckard (Erica) of Fenton, Mo.; two daughters, Sherry Crum (Donnie) and Treasa Austin, both of Newbern, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, Jeffery Crum, Jason Crum, Holly Duke, Brady Duke, Taylor Duke, Petra Drennon, Emily Austin, Cody Austin, Morgan Tibbs, Jacob Deckard, Nicholas Deckard and Lillyan Deckard; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Deckard; a daughter, Tammy Adams; a sister, Janet Crump, and her grandparents who raised her as their own, Roland and Eula Holmes.
