Jock David Hattenhauer, 61, of Manila passed from this life Aug. 23, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Oklahoma City, Okla., he was the son of the Rev. Bill and Laverne Lamb Hattenhauer and was raised in Lake City. He was employed as a shift supervisor for Viskase Corporation in Osceola and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. Jock was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Village Mission Church of God in Ashflat.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Teresa Hamilton Hattenhauer of the home; four sons, Greg Rapert of Osceola, Jonathan Hattenhauer of Manila, Kyle Hattenhauer and wife Alayna of Keiser, and Myles Hattenhauer of Manila; his parents, Rev. Bill and Laverne Lamb Hattenhauer of Mammoth Spring; a brother, Hoby Hattenhauer and wife Rhonda of Steele, Mo.; a sister, Dorothy Goodnight and husband Plez of Mayflower; and three grandchilden.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Reverend Bill Hattenhauer and the Reverend Larry Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hattenhauer, Johnny Hattenhauer, Michael Hattenhauer, Clifford Hattenhauer, Gary Hamilton and Donnie Ammons. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening, Aug. 25, from 6-8 at the funeral home.
