Marti Peel, BIC eSchool coordinator, congratulates senior Hunter Drury for his outstanding attendance record receiving perfect attendance K-12.

Only a few graduates can claim the status of perfect attendance year after year all the way from kindergarten through high school graduation. Buffalo Island Central's Hunter Drury will graduate Thursday, May 12, with perfect attendance K-12.

Hunter is the son of Jacky and Judy Drury of Leachville. He has an older brother and a younger brother.

He said his mother has always encouraged him, as well as his brothers, to do their best.

Hunter said he has had minor sickness through the years but he seemed to always get sick during school breaks.

"I never came to school sick," he said.

As he received perfect attendance year after year he made it 13 years without missing a day.

Hunter is an honor graduate. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.

He has plans for his future which include attending Harding University in Searcy majoring in biology. His long term plans include going to dental school in Nashville, Tenn.
