Friends and family welcomed Nettles Automotive to Leachville with a ribbon cutting. Mayor Ralph Wells cut the ribbon.

Nettles Automotive was welcomed to Leachville Saturday with a ribbon cutting. The new business is located on main street in the former sign company building, across from the old First Baptist Church.

Family and friends gathered to help owner Josh Nettles get off to a good start. The family business will be open seven days a week offering automotive repair and vehicle detailing.

Josh and his dad Billy Nettles are both experienced mechanics and Josh's uncle Gene Nettles will be helping with detailing.

Leachville Mayor Ralph Wells was on hand to cut the ribbon.

"We need a good mechanic here and on behalf of the citizens of Leachville I want to welcome this new business to our town," Mayor Wells said. "I encourage everyone to come out and support it."

The business will be open on weekends for the convenience of its customers. The telephone number is (870) 530-9017.

Barbecue and hamburgers were served to guests during the open house.
