BIC seniors honored at the MAC
Buffalo Island Central Senior basketball players, cheerleaders, and manages, were honored on Friday night, Feb. 5, in-between the junior and senior boys' basketball game.
The senior girls basketball players included Caslyn Walls and Blaire Wildy.
Caslyn, the daughter of Michael and Ginger Walls, has played basketball or six years.
Blaire, the daughter of Justin and Kristi Wildy, has played basketball for six years.
The senior boys basketball players are Travon Cobb and Drake Jones.
Travon, the son of Terry and Denise Cobb, has played for the Mustangs one year.
Drake, the son of Dennis and B.J. Oliver and Rodney and Casey Jones, has played basketball for six years.
The Mustangs will be saying good-bye to five senior cheerleaders, Samantha Gipson, Hannah Harrell, Amanda Nichole Sipes, Kirsten Wattigney, and Sarah Beth Vaughn.
Samantha, the daughter of Kent and Tammy Gipson, has been a cheerleader for six years.
Hannah, the daughter of Rick and Kelli Harrell, has also bee a member of the Mustang Cheer squad for six years.
Amanda, the daughter of Ketrena Sipes, has been a cheerleader for two years.
Kirsten, daughter of Johnnie and Sarah Wattigney, has been a cheerleader for six years.
Sarah, daughter of Rebecca Gaddy and Bradley Vaughn, has been a cheerleader for four year.
Managers included Natalie Campbell, Drake Cobb, Connor Miller, and Julie Thompson.
Natalie, daughter of Charla and Wayne Austin and Jeff Campbell, has been a manager for one year. She also played basketball for three years and a cheerleader for one year.
Drake, son of Dennis Cobb, has served as manager for three years.
Connor, son of Gordon and Missi Miller, has served as manager for the team for one year.
Julie, daughter of Rusty and Beth Thompson, has been manager for one year.
