Glenn French of Manila received the Southeast Region of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife (USFWS) Federal Wage System Employee of the Year award.

Glenn has served as the engineering equipment operator on Big Lake National Wildlife Refuge for four years.

He traveled to the USFWS Southeast Regional Office in Atlanta, Ga., on Dec. 8 to accept his award.
