Zula Mae McCain

Zula Mae McCain, 74, of Leachville passed from this life Dec. 2, 2015, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center in Monette. Born at Lepanto she was the daughter of the late Teddie and Elsie Russell Dixon and had been a longtime Leachville resident. She had worked for Farmers Market as a produce manager for over 12 years then for Jr. Food Mart in Leachville for seven years. Zula had attended the United Pentecostal Church in Leachville for many years and later attended Second Baptist Church in Leachville where she taught the ladies Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon McCain of the home; four sons, James Miller of Fayetteville, Billy Martin of Imboden, Jerry Martin of Walnut Ridge and

Greg Martin of Leachville; two stepsons, Troy McCain and Todd McCain, both of Leachville; one stepdaughter, Cheri Gibson of Paragould; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
