Milligan Ridge- Everett Hollis Jr., 65, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born July 13, 1950, in Caraway to the late Everett Sr. and Irene Hollis. He was retired from Evonik in Osceola as a maintenance man and he was a master electrician. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Everett was a member of the Caraway First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Mary Hollis; a son, Brian Hollis (Susan) of Manila; a daughter, Christy Tipton (Mitchell) of Caraway; four sisters, Myra Pippinger (Jerry) of Brinkley, Pat Barrett (Larry) of Caraway, Shirley Douglas (Floyd) of Murfreesboro, TN. and Pauline Killough (Mike) of Brookland; two brothers, Bob Hollis and Steve Hollis both of Caraway; three grandchildren, Heather Hollis and Coby Hollis both of Manila and Jacob Tipton of Caraway; lots of nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at Caraway First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Caraway First Baptist Church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Terry Couch, John Starnes, Kenny Stallings, Jerry Hitchcock, Jordan Adcock and Brian Pannells and as honorary pallbearers, Lynn Crews, Reggie Waugh and Leo Stallings.
