SOUTHBank officially merges with Cross County Bank
Will do business as First Commercial Bank
(WYNNE) -- Cross County Bank, headquartered in Wynne, Ark., has announced that all regulatory approvals have been granted to complete the transaction to merge the SOUTHBank, F.S.B. Arkansas branches in Blytheville, Manila and Osceola into Cross County Bank. The merger is effective immediately and the branches will operate under the trade name of First Commercial Bank. Customers can expect to see First Commercial Bank rebranding immediately and in the weeks ahead. With the merger complete, customers of Cross County Bank branches and the former SOUTHBank Arkansas branches can bank at any location of Cross County Bank or its dba First Commercial Bank.
"We are pleased to officially welcome the employees and customers of SOUTHBank to our banking family and to be able to provide all of our customers more convenient banking with the additional locations." Cross County Bank will now have nine locations along the I-55 and I-40 corridor.
Bank customers of the former SOUTHBank, F.S.B. branches previously received notifications regarding changes to their accounts and should contact their local branch offices with any questions.
