Lester Leroy Beal, age 71, of Paragould, formerly of Leachville, died Monday Sept. 7, 2015, at the Advance Care Hospital in Searcy. Born at Manila he was the son of the late Leslie and Maddie McFall Beal and had been a longtime Leachville resident before making his home in Paragould in 2005. He was a former longtime maintenance technician for the Blytheville/Gosnell School District and was a retired maintenance technician for the State of Arkansas at the former Eakers Air Force Base in Blytheville. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Manila.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dorothy Beal.

He is survived by his son, Ronnie Beal and his wife Michelle of Paragould; three brothers, James Beal of Austin, Ark., Lloyd Beal of Lyndon, Ill., and Don Beal of Rector; two sisters, Katheryn Murphree of Paragould and Pat Rosenow of Lyndon, Ill. He also leaves his granddaughter, Sarah Beal of Paragould.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Floyd Ryles officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors from 1 until service time at the funeral home.
