Wanda Lee Stutts

Wanda Lee Stutts, 85, of Manila, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was a lifelong Manila area resident. Wanda was a member of Little River Baptist Church and was a former VBS teacher and Sunday school teacher. She graduated from Manila High School in 1946 where she valedictorian. Wanda loved farming and spending time with her family. She and her family were the Arkansas State Farm Family of 1976 and a former member of the FHA board.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Stutts; her parents, Harry L. and Ethel (Click) King; one brother, Clifford King, and two sisters, Helen Jean Veach and Thelma Cresap.

Survivors include her sons, Nicky A. Stutts and Jerri of Manila and David W. Stutts and Lisa of Gamaliel; six grandchildren, Stephanie Rapert and Jerry, Jared Stutts, Jennifer Jackson and Rodney, Mandy Mahan and Patrick, Sarah Bowden and Richard, Gavin Stutts and Ashley; 12 great-grandchildren, Abby, Jeb, Jude, Libby, Spencer, Kourtnei, Chase, Taylor, Bella, Jake, Grayson and Everly; one great-great-grandchild, Ella Ruth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Little River Baptist Church 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Albert Mullins and Rev. Jeff Cravens officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until service time also at Little River Baptist Church.
