Doris Faye Holt

Doris Faye Holt, 76, of Snow Lake, passed from this life Monday, June 1, 2015, at her second home in Manila. Born in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and LaVerne Crawford Hampton and was raised in Dell and Manila. A 1956 graduate of Manila High School, she had lived in Snow Lake since 1963 and was a longtime member of the Elaine Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, L. K. Holt, Jr. of Snow Lake; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Donna Holt of Barton, Ark., and Ted and Martha Holt of Pocahontas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Joey Quinn of Elaine; one brother, Don Hampton of Manila; one sister, Betty Brooks of Jacksonville, Fla.

She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jana Shinall, Joseph Quinn, Kaleb Holt, Ryan Holt, Hunter Holt, Brent Holt, Teddi K. Holt, and Clara Lynn Holt. She was expecting two great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday June 4, at the Manila Cemetery with Rev. Luke Watson and Rev. Tony Berry officiating. Burial is under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive visitors from 10 until service time Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.
