Thomas Ricci Waugh, 60, of Black Oak passed away Feb. 22, 2015, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born June 24, 1954 in Jonesboro, he was the son of the late J.L. and Mary Pennington Waugh and had served in the National Guard. Mr. Waugh was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a retired EMT, fireman and search and rescue team. He enjoyed watching westerns, racing, watching his grandchildren play ball and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cherrie Waugh of the home; one son, Thomas Ricci Waugh, Jr. of Caraway; one daughter, Windy Waugh of Caraway; three grandsons, Caleb Waugh, Chance Waugh and Caden Hicks all of Caraway; four brothers, Charles Waugh and wife Carrie of Glendale, Ariz., Jimmy Waugh and wife Pam of Parson, West Vir., Mike Waugh and Linda of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jody Waugh and wife Kathy of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Melissa Harris and husband Doug of Falkville, Ala. Mr. Waugh also leaves a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Larry Waugh.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Caraway First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Pallbearers are Thomas Ricci Waugh "Moose", Doug Harris, Charles Waugh, Mike Waugh, Jody Waugh and John Calvert. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons and nephews.
