Buffalo Island Central's Junior Mustangs shrugged off a slow start to remain unbeaten on the season with a hard earned 44-33 victory over Paragould Saturday afternoon at Nettleton High School.

The Mustangs, who stand a perfect 17-0 on the season, as well as owning an unblemished 6-0 2A-3 conference mark, was led by Canon Walling, who scored 14 points. Chayse Carmichael pitched in 12 points, Andrew McFarlin tallied nine while Miles Gifford chipped in eight.
