Fredia Lewallen, 85, of Corning passed away Dec. 11, 2014, at her daughter's home in Caraway. Born July 14, 1929, in Black Rock, Mrs. Lewallen was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

On Sept. 3, 1947, she was married to Wallace B. Lewallen. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2004.

Survivors include children, Suzanne Daniels and Wallace Gaylon Lewallen, both of Caraway; brother, J.E. Sauls of Walnut Ridge; sister, Edna Bookout of Anderson, Ind.; grandchildren, Marcus (Heather) Price of Corning, T. (Becky) Daniels of Lake City, Lacey (Austin) Cotter of Greenbrier, and Channing Claude of Corning; great-grandchildren Dalton Price, Chandler Daniels, Cayci Daniels, Colton Ladyman, Erica Masterson, Collin Eaton, Cole Williams, Miley Cotter, Chacey Claude, Bailey and Hanner Fisher; great-great-grandchildren, Baylor Eaton, Kelci and Kyler Masterson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Kelly Lewallen; and parents, Ed and Ollie Sauls.

Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service was 2 p.m. with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial followed the service in Corning Cemetery.
