Tuesday, November 18, 2014
Manila High School Principal Chris Ferrell (left) and Superintendent Pam Castor (right) congratulate Manila senior cheerleaders, Whitney Bunch, Taylen Smith and Abbie Jolliff, on their upcoming trip to New York City to participate in the 2014 Macy Thanksgiving Parade.

Abbie Jolliff, Taylen Smith and Whitney Bunch, Manila senior cheerleaders, will be leaving on Nov. 22 for a six day adventure to New York. The girls will be marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Abbie qualified by being All American Cheerleader and Taylen and Whitney were nominated to be part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

The girls are looking forward to attending a Broadway show, visiting Ground Zero, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Good Morning America and shopping. They will have tour guides throughout the trip.

In addition to sightseeing, they will be practicing with cheerleaders from across America.

The girls have worked hard with several fundraisers to help fund their trip. They had two painting parties, sold pickles, Subway cards, and more.

They will definitely be making senior memories as they participate in the 2014 Macy Thanksgiving Parade.
