Riverside's second seeded doubles team of Gavin Stone and Levi Reed upset the number one seeded Rebel team of Kollin Stone and Jon Milligan, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) in the finals.

The Lady Rebels piled up 16 points in winning the girls division. Kaitlyn Hale outlasted teammate Ashlyn Snyder 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 to claim the singles crown. In the doubles final, it was also an all Lady Rebel matchup, featuring the number one seeded team of Chelsea Nichols and Natalie Milligan against the second seeded pair of Hattie Milligan and Sydney Emery. Nichols and Natalie Milligan came away with the championship with a straight set 6-0, 6-4 victory.

"It just keeps getting better every year," said Rebel Coach Terry Conner, who was also named Coach of the Year in both the boys and girls divisions. "We had several new kids who stepped up this year and performed well. All of our players finished well. I was proud of all their effort and we are looking forward to the state tournament."

The boys team will enter the Class 2A State Tournament as the defending champions. Both boys and girls teams will participate Oct. 20-21 at the Fort Smith Athletic Club. Mulberry High School is the host team.
