Caraway Car Wash opened at 304 East Street in Caraway. The new business owners Kyle and Hailey Vaughn were welcomed with a ribbon cutting Thursday evening.

The three stall car can accommodate trucks and vans in the truck bay. Also, the car wash has a money changer, air for tires, and two vacuum cleaners. It is set up so patrons can use credit or debit cards.

City officials Mayor Barry Riley, Recorder/treasurer Rick Stevens, Councilmen John Boatman and Mitchell Tipton were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and congratulate the couple on opening their business.

"This is something we needed and we had thought about it a long time," Mrs. Vaughn said. "We have lost a lot in Caraway from the tornado and wind storms over the last year we decided it was time to start building back. We live here and we love Caraway. We want to raise our children here and it is time for new beginnings for our community. The city has been very supportive of our new business and we appreciate all of the encouragement."

Mayor Riley thanked the owners for their contribution to Caraway.
