Young people from the Hope Missions offer helping hands.

A large group of young people and adults from Hope Missions in Alabama were welcomed to Manila by the First Baptist Church.

A group of 85 young people and adult leaders from several churches in Alabama arrived in Manila to share the gospel, work and offer helping hands wherever they were needed. They were joined by several young people and adults from First Baptist Church.

Young people could be seen working around businesses and residences cleaning windows, cleaning out flower beds, including the Herman Davis Park, and anything else needed. They enjoyed sharing the gospel as they worked. A backyard Bible School was held. One group of young people distributed corn provided by a local farmer to area senior citizens.

The crew from Hope Missions worked on the park at the Herman Davis Monument. Volunteers pictured are from three different churches in North Central Alabama.

The group worked from Monday through Thursday and stayed at the Manila First Baptist New Life Center. They enjoyed the Manila swimming pool one evening.
