Adam's Tire and Auto Service opened on Highway 18
Adam Stallings opened Adam's Tire and Auto Service at 406 West Highway 18 in Manila on July 1. Stallings moved into the new 2,400 square foot shop giving him more room and the opportunity to expand his business.
Stallings has worked out of a small shop located on Raleigh Street located behind the old nursing home building.
Stallings, a Manila native, is a certified mechanic with over 10 years of experience. He worked for 10 years in dealerships and is a Chrysler Master Technician, and is Ford certified, Nissan certified, and is well on the way to ASE certification.
Stallings has a full service center offering tires, brakes, engine repair, diagnostics, heat and air conditioning, minor electrical, light diesel metal work, welding, and local towing.
He will carry several brands of tires including Yokohaha, Nexen, Kumho, Falken, and more. He also will have Interstate Batteries.
In the future he hopes to add washing and detail services to his business.
Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday. The telephone number is (870) 570-0357.
He and his wife, Holly, live in Manila. Stallings said he is happy to be able to work in his hometown and serve the community and the surrounding area. He is the grandson of Harold and Stella Stallings, long-time business owners in Manila.
Stallings said he always wanted to be an auto mechanic and after graduation went to work and is very pleased to have his own business.
