St. Bernards Auxiliary Presents $20,000 in Scholarships to Health Professions Students

Ten nursing and healthcare professions students have been selected to receive scholarships for the fall semester which represent a total value of $20,000 from the St. Bernards Auxiliary. They include (from left) Amber Jones of Batesville, Michael Anderson of Jonesboro, Sheri Duncan of Osceola, Lauren Jetton of Paragould, Angela Hammill of Memphis and Latoya Rucker of Wynne. Recipients not pictured are Ryan Anderson of Lake City, Chelsea Domino of Paragould, Ethan Gibson of Maynard and Teresa Holifield of Paragould. Three of the recipients are working on master's degrees in nursing while others are working on bachelor's and other degrees. During the last two decades, the Auxiliary has presented more than $250,000 in scholarships to students from the area who are pursuing degrees in health professions. (photo provided)
