Paul Richard Hill

Paul Richard Hill, 58, of Ethelsville, Ala., died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. Born June 6, 1955, at Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of the late John and Helen Rotach Hill and had been a Michigan resident before making his home in Alabama in 1989. He was a retired automotive mechanic for the Bill Deloach Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and he attended Spirit of Grace Holiness Church in Ethelsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Hill, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Paula Long Hill of the home; one son, Richard Paul Hill of Winfield, Ala.; one brother, Mike Hill of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Cindy Nelson of Firestone, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Todd Milburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday afternoon from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.
