Riverside holds spring sports auction and Troy Case memorial fish fry

The third annual Troy Case Memorial Fish Fry and Riverside Sports Auction were held Tuesday, April 29, at the Riverside High School cafeteria. The fish fry was added to the sports auction event in memory of long time educator and former Riverside elementary principal Troy Case. A tribute table covered with photographs, yearbooks and memorabilia was on display honoring Mr. Case.

Young athletes helped serve over 400 fish plates and assisted with the auction.

A tribute table in memory of Troy Case, long time educator, honored him for the years of service to Riverside.

A silent auction with a large variety of baked goods was held, along with a live auction with Riverside Coach and auctioneer Buster Campbell directing the way.

The annual event generates money to support the non-revenue producing sports including baseball, softball, golf, bowling, tennis and track.

It was a good evening to be a Riverside Rebel.
