Jones irrigation welcomed with ribbon cutting

Jones Irrigation Installation and Repairs, Inc. was welcomed with a ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, Feb. 21. Jones Irrigation Installation and Repairs, Inc. was welcomed Friday, Feb. 21, to its new location at 5280 West State Highway 18.

The family-owned business was established in 1987 by Buddy Jones, vice president and founder. Presently serving as president of the company is Kevin Jones.

The newly constructed facility features 10,500 square feet including a showroom, three offices, breakroom, shop area, warehouse and parts room.

The company specializes in installing and repairing pivot irrigation systems. Jones became a Valley Irrigation Dealership in September 2012.

They will keep in stock irrigation system parts, tees for flood irrigation, tools and much more.

The business moved to Highway 18 from Lepanto where they had been working out of a 40'x60' shop. At the new location the new facility is located on eight acres.

The business has a fleet of vehicles to meet the needs of its customers.

Tabitha Jones serves as parts manager, Diane Jones as office manager, Keri Watson as sales manager along with eight other employees.

In addition to the ribbon cutting and welcome ceremony, Jones Irrigation staff and Benton Flying Service hosted a customer appreciation luncheon serving fish and all the trimmings to over 200 guests. Drawings were held for door prizes provided by Jones Irrigation Inc. and Benton Flying Service giving away $500 in $50 bills; hats, shirts, coffee mugs and more.
