The latest contributor to the Mississippi County Farm Bureau Federation Presidents Scholarship Foundation is Steve Metheny of Etowah with a $400 contribution.

The scholarship federation was established in 2011 with the primary purpose to maintain a scholarship fund for Mississippi County students pursuing a degree in agriculture. This may be an undergraduate or graduate level individual enrolled in an institution which offers a four year agriculture curriculum.

The foundation is nonprofit and exclusively for charity and educational purposes within the 501 (c3) of the Internal Revenue code. This means all donations are totally tax deductible to the contributor.

Officers of the Scholarship Foundation are Heath Adkisson and Mark Bryles, both of Blytheville, John Tipton of Osceola, Justin Wildy of Leachville, Benton Felts of Joiner and Randy Reynolds of Half Moon.

Contributions may be forwarded to Randy Reynolds, treasurer, P.O. Box 366, Blytheville, or P.O. Box 406, Osceola.
